Out-of-Network Physical Therapy in Cherry Hill, NJ
Out-of-network physical therapy means a full hour with a doctor of physical therapy every visit. No insurance company decides how long you are seen or when you are done.
- 60 minutes, one-on-one:Â Every session is a full hour with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your time is never split between patients.
- No visit limits:Â No insurer caps how long you are seen or how many sessions you get.
- Set rates, quoted up front:Â The evaluation and the follow-up sessions each have a set rate. You hear the figure before you book, not after.
- Reimbursement is common:Â Many Rehabletics clients get part of their cost back through out-of-network benefits.
What Out-of-Network Physical Therapy Actually Means
Out-of-network physical therapy means the clinic holds no contract with your insurance company. Rehabletics sets its own standard of care rather than accepting an insurer’s.
Out-of-network does not mean uncovered. Most PPO plans include out-of-network benefits, and those benefits apply to care at Rehabletics.
An out-of-network provider is a licensed clinic that treats you without an insurer contract. You pay the clinic directly. Your plan may then pay you back for part of what you spent.
Here’s what matters for athletes. An in-network contract sets the rates, so it also shapes the care. Session length, visit count and which tests get approved all sit with the insurer. Out-of-network puts those decisions back in your clinician’s hands.
Why Rehabletics Is Out-of-Network
Rehabletics is out-of-network because insurance contracts cap the three things that get athletes back to sport: time, testing and visit count.
A contracted rate has to cover a business. Clinics meet it by shortening sessions, adding patients per hour and handing part of your visit to an aide. The care is not bad. It’s built around a reimbursement number instead of your return-to-sport date.
We took the other route. One athlete, one hour, one physical therapy.
What shapes your care | Insurance-driven clinic | Rehabletics |
| Session length | Set by what the plan reimburses | Full 60 minutes |
| Who treats you | Often shared with aides or techs | Doctor of Physical Therapy, one-on-one |
| Number of visits | Approved and capped by your plan | Decided by your progress |
| Testing | Limited to what is billable | Force plate testing, individual muscle strength, movement patterning |
| What “finished” means | Symptoms have settled | You are cleared for your sport |
How Pricing Works at Rehabletics
Pricing at Rehabletics is straightforward. The initial evaluation and the follow-up sessions each carry a set rate, with no hidden fees and no surprise bills.
We quote your figure before you book anything. We cover that on the free Comeback Call, and we will put it in writing if you ask.
Three things you can count on:
- One rate per visit. No per-modality add-ons show up on a bill afterward.
- The number comes first. You know what your evaluation and your sessions cost before you commit to either.
- In writing on request. Ask for a Good Faith Estimate and we will send your expected cost as a document.
We don’t list rates on this page because the right figure depends on what you actually need. That might be an evaluation only, a short block of sessions, or a full return-to-sport plan. One phone call settles it, and it’s free.
How Out-of-Network Reimbursement Works
Out-of-network reimbursement works by paying the clinic first, then claiming from your plan. There are four steps, and we walk you through each one.
- Check your out-of-network physical therapy benefits before your first visit. The six questions further down tell you exactly what to ask.
- Pay the set rate at your visit. You always know the amount in advance.
- Submit your paperwork to your insurance company. After each visit, we give you the documentation your plan needs to process an out-of-network claim.
- Receive your plan’s payment directly from your insurer. Timing depends on your plan, not on us.
Your insurer sends an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB, showing what it allowed and what it paid. Reimbursement depends entirely on your plan, so we never promise a figure. Many Rehabletics clients do get partial out-of-network reimbursement.
Work Out What You Would Actually Pay
You can calculate your net cost per visit with three numbers from your plan and the rate we quote you. The formula is short.
Your net cost per visit = the session rate minus what your plan reimburses.
What your plan reimburses depends on two things. An out-of-network deductible is the amount you pay yourself each year before your plan reimburses anything for out-of-network care. Coinsurance is the share your plan pays once you meet that deductible.
Two Situations, and What Each One Means
Before you meet your deductible, your plan reimburses nothing, so your net cost is the full session rate. Every dollar still counts toward the deductible, which is why later visits in the same plan year often cost you less.
After you meet your deductible, your plan reimburses its coinsurance share of the allowed amount, and you keep the difference. If your plan pays 60 percent coinsurance, your share is roughly 40 percent of the allowed amount, plus anything the plan does not allow.
Fill In Your Own Numbers
Print this, or write it on the back of your insurance card. Bring it to your Comeback Call.
Line | Where it comes from | Your number |
| Session rate | We quote it on your Comeback Call | Â |

| Deductible already met this year | Your insurer | Â |
| Coinsurance percentage | Your insurer | Â |
| Visit limit per year, if any | Your insurer | Â |

Bring those numbers and we will run the arithmetic with you. No guessing, and nothing you find out after your first appointment.
Six Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company
Call the member services number on your card and ask these six questions. Write down the answers, along with the date and the representative’s name.
- Ask whether your plan includes out-of-network outpatient physical therapy benefits.
- Ask what your out-of-network deductible is, and how much of it you have already met this year.
- Ask what your coinsurance percentage is for out-of-network physical therapy.
- Ask whether your plan caps the number of physical therapy visits per year.
- Ask whether your plan requires a physician referral or prescription to reimburse an out-of-network claim.
- Ask how to submit an out-of-network claim, and where to send it.
Those six answers plus our quoted rate give you your real cost. Most people get all six in one phone call.
Your Good Faith Estimate, in Writing
A Good Faith Estimate is a written estimate of what your care will cost, and you have the right to one. Under the federal No Surprises Act, uninsured patients or those paying out of pocket have the right to a Good Faith Estimate before treatment begins.
This is the fastest way to get a real figure from us. Ask on your Comeback Call, or call anytime. We will put your expected cost in writing before you book a single appointment.
You Don’t Need a Referral to Start Physical Therapy in New Jersey
New Jersey law lets a licensed physical therapist evaluate and treat you without a referral from another provider. Call Rehabletics today and start this week.
Two things are worth separating here. State law does not require a referral to begin care. Your insurance plan may still require a physician’s prescription to reimburse your out-of-network claim, which is question five on the list above.
Is Out-of-Network Physical Therapy Right for You?
Out-of-network care suits athletes who want time and testing. It suits some situations better than others, and we would rather tell you now than after your evaluation.
Rehabletics is a good fit if you:
- Want a full hour with a doctor of physical therapy every visit
- Have tried a short-session clinic and stalled before returning to sport
- Have out-of-network PPO benefits, or can pay a set rate directly
- Want to keep training through rehab instead of stopping everything
- Need return-to-sport clearance, not just pain relief
Rehabletics may not be the right fit if you:
- Need a low fixed copay per visit to make care affordable
- Have a plan with no out-of-network benefits and cannot cover the rate yourself, which is the case with some HMO plans
- Have symptoms that need a physician’s workup first, such as a suspected fracture or a new neurological change
Call us anyway if you are unsure. We will tell you honestly on the Comeback Call, and we will point you somewhere better if that is the right answer.
What a Full Hour at Rehabletics Includes
A full hour buys assessment, treatment, and testing in the same visit. That combination is what a shorter, insurance-shaped session usually has to cut.
Rehabletics is led by Dr. Jaime Mor, PT, DPT, ATC, the clinic’s founder, and Dr. Erik Bonn, PT, DPT, MS, ATC. Both hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and certification as Certified Athletic Trainers, or ATCs, a credential earned through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
Your hour can include:
- Force plate testing, which measures how much force each leg actually produces, so asymmetry shows up as a number rather than a guess
- Individual muscle strength testing to find the specific weak link behind a recurring injury
- Movement patterning assessment across the whole body, not only the painful joint
- Return-to-sport testing once you are far enough along to need clearance criteria
- Hands-on treatment, including manual therapy, soft tissue work or dry needling
- Recovery tools such as laser or PEMF therapy where they support the plan
Our Clinic Hours
- Mon–Fri: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Early, late, and weekend appointments exist because school and season schedules do not bend.
End Note
Out-of-network care is a straight trade. You pay a set rate, and you get an hour, a doctor of physical therapy, testing that shows what is actually wrong, and no insurer deciding your last visit. For athletes trying to get back on the field rather than just out of pain, that trade is often worth it.
Start with the free Comeback Call. Bring your six insurance answers, and you will leave the call knowing what your recovery costs and what your plan is likely to give back.
